Hi Everybody! I'm new to the boards and am overwhelmed by the knowledge and talent of everyone here! I've taken Wilton Course One and Two, which were great, and have also branched out on my own with candy making. It's going well, and I'm actually doing okay with my molds.

My question is about custom molds. I'm getting pretty good with things and would love to make my business card/logo for my customers and prospective customers. I've researched it and have found companies want $325 (to start) for the custom mold.

I've also found the business card sized molds, but I want my logo to look perfect (not in my own handwriting). Any comments would be most welcome. And again, you guys are so inspiring!!

I've been doing a little bit more research and have found my first estimate was not that far off! I've considered buying a printer and doing transfers, but that does not seem cost efficient.

I wish I knew someone who could do a simple mold like face, arms & legs.

They would eat cake for free for the rest of their life if I could find someone to make what I want!

Good Luck!

Lady Sonja!
I saw your post and had to reply. I just received the catalog I ordered from Candyland Crafts (www.candylandcrafts.com). They have the body parts mold. I can't remember the item number (and the pieces look a little like Barbie, LOL), but I'm hoping this helps you. A.

Yes It Does! Thank you so much! I will take a look at the web site and see if they have what I want. My Fondant/Gumpaste dolls need some help! I'm seriously thinking of taking an Art class to help get the stuff out of my head on paper and on to a cake! thumbs_up.gif

Lots of "people parts" molds out there. Just need to do some internet browsing. Also, check the clay dept. at your local crafts store.

Thank you for the key word... "People Molds"

I just popped it in to a Google search and it took me straight to what I wanted and the price I want to pay! icon_lol.gifthumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif
