I just delivered my 2nd wedding cake and it went much better than the first!
Want to give a thanks to 'chisl' for the idea and everyone else who gave me great tips beforehand.
I used the crusting creamcheese recipe and found it was difficult to smooth. It does get soft but my hands are like oven mittens. I melt chocolate in an instant!

It looks absolutely perfect. You did an excellent job. I just hope my 2nd wedding cake looks as good as yours.

WOW! Beautiful! I too am using the crusting cream cheese icing for my own wedding cake this coming weekend, and am decorating with white chocolate seashells. My fear is that the sea shells will be too heavy for the frosting to hold. I am glad to hear you had success with this icing- I hope my cake turns out this good!
