Hey all...It's been a while since I posted, but now I'm back...
I was wonderng, anyone else who took the Wilton Courses, when practicing dropflowers on your practice board, do your tips stick to the plastic and sometimes pull your flowers up? I really want to do a cake with the pink drop flowers, but I get discouraged when they mess up on the practice board. Any suggestions on any other way to practice?
Thanks!!!
I do mine on waxed paper but you have to hold the paper down to keep it from pulling up. I also put some icing under to waxed paper to hold it down also. Put the waxed paper on a cookie sheet or plate. Hope this helps some, I am not as experienced as most...
I you are having a problem with tip sticking and icing pulling, make sure you consistancy is correct. That might be a little of the problem.
Hey Mochaboi, glad to see your back...you've missed out on alot of stuff.. do you think maybe your tip is too close to the plastic when you are practicing? That's the only thing I could think of..
MIGHTY MOUSE TO THE RESCUE! That's exactly what it was. I practiced somemore with the advice from here...Thanks to you all...The wax paper on a cookie sheet is much better..and a much larger practice space to boot...
