Has anybody elses stand up cuddly bear lost their head? Do you think I should even attempt to fix it or just start over? It seems like the heating core was too close to the edge of the pan or something...

Never had that problem. Was your cake mix "strong" enough? They say to use a sturdier mix like pound cake, but I've used just regular yellow & white cake mixes.

Could you use a straw and some buttercream to dowel it on?

You might PM ge978 and ask if she has any suggestions. She's had a similar problem before (although I don't remember what the whole thread was about it was VERY funny at the time!).
