hi i just wanted to know if any one had any directions for creating fondant jungle animals ?
That is sooo ironic! I am doing a "Zoo" themed cake for a kids church outing tomorrow. I am probably going to use the cake out of the "Whimsical Bakehouse" book. It requires chocolate transfering the animals, but I am more apt with that than with fondant! Here is a bump for ya!
I did a jungle themed baby shower cake. I didn't have any instructions, but you could get some clay modeling books that teach how to make animals. My cake is inmy gallery if you want to look..... certainly not a pro at it, but oh well!
Good luck!
Here is a link to the Wilton site that tells how to make fondant animals. HTH some, Jen

Hi,
I just did a jungle cake with fondant animals in February. I used the sculpey clay modelling book, and the crayola critters book for inspiration. Take a look at my cake, it's in my photos, and pm me if I can help in any way.

Hi,
I did a jungle cake for my friends daughter with mmf animals. I have the pics in my gallery (also pics of the individual animals). I got ideas from the playdough site for making a cat, used this concept for the tiger and lion. Also looking at soft toys. If you need any help pm me.
