I am making a HUGE castle cake for my daughter's 3 rd B-day. I have most of it all planned out, but I would like something yummy and interesting for the inside. I was thinking of some of the cherry party cake recipes on this site - anyone tried them? Any other ideas? I will be icing in buttercream. Thanks! KM

Does she have a favorite? Usually their tastes are pretty simple at that age. My grandaughter wanted orange cake for her birthday and she was just thinking of the color because it was her favorite. Cherry sounds yummy! Swirl it w/white or chocolate and do a choc ganache or cherry whipped filling.
