Making Fondant Really White, Help!!!!

I made marshmellow fondant and added wilton white icing color to it, but it is not getting very white. I am making a wedding dress with it. Are there any tricks to get it really white?

I had the same problem the first time I made MMF. I used cheapo store brand marshmallows AND powdered sugar and it definately had a cream-colored cast to it. Since then, it's Domino's sugar and Jet-Puf marshmallows. HTH

Wilton makes a liquid "White-White" they sell at Wal-Mart. You can also purchase it any where you buy your coloring gels, they all sell White. You don't need alot and it really makes it white. Even buttercream comes out really white if you use it.

I know this sounds odd, but I've read in too many of these forums that you add violet to make white. Here is one forum that talks about it:
