Hey Y'all, Good Morning!

I need some honest opinions this morning!

I had a friend of mine at work that wanted me to make her a princess cake for her 21st birthday. Well, I made the cake and I was trying to make her look springy, and by doing that I think I lost the Princess look I was going for. I think she looks like a Senorita now!

What do y'all think? Should I redo it, or just let it go? She knows this is my first one and she is not paying for it, so I'm not sure really how to handle this!

P.S. See picture of Doll cake in my photos! usaribbon.gif

Thanks
Connie

Good morning there!! I agree with you!

Can you scrape some of that icing off and put other colors on? I think it's the red & green on the yellow that really take away from the "spring" look. They're both pretty dark colors. Maybe try a lighter blue and/or lighter green and/or pink.

I would redo it if I had time and if I wasn't happy with it at all.

Hope some of this helps, let me know what you decide to do.

I agree with Mmdd....I would change out the colors to pink and lavender purple. Those are more Princessy colors. The yellow and green look more mexican like you said..Senorita.Other than that she looks great!!

I agree with mmdd, it's the colors that takes away from the spring look. I can also see why you think she looks like a senorita, she's pretty though!
