I am making a cake and purchasing a set of the elevated single cake acrylic stands. I know there is a place on those, but do I use another plate to put the cake on and then, set all of that on the stand? I would think it would be easier to transport and serve that way. Do any of you use these and how do you do it? icon_confused.gif

Thanks for your help, Lera icon_smile.gif

I love that cake stand. I always but my cakes on cardboard. It's way easier to transport but also you don't have the stands with cut marks from cutting the cake. I also but a business card taped to the bottom with wide tape so that they would know where to return them and anyone cleaning up could write down my number if they wanted.

Thanks, Lisa! thumbs_up.gif

Another question if you please, do you just set your cakes on top of the stands? I guess I am worried about tipping over or offf. icon_cry.gif

Yeah, just put your cake ona cakeboard and then they slide right on top of the stands. They are a bit wobbly if you try to move them on the sand too much and definitely don't try cutting them on the stands. Otherwise, they will sit nicely up on top of the stands until you are ready to remove them and cut the cake.

I love these stands. They are so pretty.
