This will be my first time using the foam core boards and I wondered if there is any special way that they need to be cut or just with a knife? Didn't want to mess it up because it was the only one the store had! Thanks!

Xacto knife works the best!

Miss Robin is right - use and sharp xacto knife and a straight edge.
