I am making a coffee cup cake, and using fondant for the cup. Not sure how to pick up the cake and flip it right side up after covering without messing up the fondant and icing decs on it. I am going to attempt painting on the cup, and I really don't want to mess it up after I'm done!

Thanks!
Nichole

Do it on a board. Put another board on the other end and flip it over holding both boards??

Yep, I would say between 2 boards both lightly dusted with icing sugar. You will need to be careful not to squash decorations depending where they are.
