I've been looking thru recipes till Im cross eyed... Any suggestion on a good icing recipe using heavy whipping cream? One that I can still decorate with? Just like to see what others use...

I like Wilton's Stabilized Whipped Cream recipe from their site, under Recipe Box, under Basic Icings. I have done stability tests with all of the various methods of stabilizing whipping cream and I find that their recipe usign piping gel works best. You can do shells and stars and basic things, not roses or anything though. A cake covered with it holds up well in the fridge for about 4 days. Other than that you need do go with a non-dairy product.
