OK, I just made my first batch of MMF. I think I did something wrong. I followed the directions but the MMF is very thick and seems hard. It doesn't seem like it will roll out good after it sets. What did I do wrong? Please help.

Try kneading in a small amount of shortening! Did you use all the powder sugar? Sometimes it won't take the whole bag but about 99% of it!

If you followed the directions here on CC then it should be fine. Just wrap it up, I just put mine in a heavy duty ziploc, and let it sit overnight or at least eight hours and give it a try. You will probably have to microwave it for a few seconds to get it soft to start kneading it. I always do!

Good luck and let us know how it turns out! thumbs_up.gif
