I got an order to do a non-decorated birthday cake (no special designs, just a chocolate ganache on the top). It's a dark chocolate cake with crushed peppermint patties in it, and it's fairly straightforward. Serves 12 people (according to the recipe I'm using). I can't figure out what to charge for this - any ideas? (It is time-consuming, but not too difficult.) Thanks for the help!

I would say at least 1.50/slice. Sounds pretty reasonable for a "home baked" cake, even if it is simple. If you live in an area that supports higher priced cakes, maybe a little higher...?
