I am really excited to try making this cake! I'm going to in a few weeks for my grandmother's birthday - I've already tried making some of the GP flowers for the first time and think they turned out quite nice. I just had a question because I'm not sure if it matters or not - for the styrofoam lid can I just cover all of it in fondant or is there some advantage to covering the one part in GP? Thanks
I just finished my first hat box cake this weekend (and first flowers!) and my grandma absolutely loved the cake. Thanks for the great info to help me in making it
