I was wondering, what is the going price (on average) for a cake like this?

I handmade everything fyi. It would feed about 10 or more.

I don't know about your area; check with some local bakeries. In San Diego, maybe
$60?

At least $60!!! - With all the work that it looks like that took! icon_surprised.gif Absolutely gorgeous! I'd charge whatever you want - whoever gets it would be more than happy to pay a hefty price for such a wonderful cake. thumbs_up.gif

I would say $60...just factor in the cost of making it (ingredients), plus how much time you put in and what you want to be paid for your time and artistic work.

Great job!

It looks fabulous! A lot of work and time! $60.00 sounds good to me too if youre area will support the price. definitely think it is worth that or more. A 10" wedding tier is about that much or more and not near the work(oops depending on the cake). You are paying for the art not so much the servings.
