I just discovered a way to cover my mini cake! A 5 quart plastic ice cream bucket inverted! I put some bubble wrap under the cake board to keep it in place, and the bucket is tall enough for almost any of the mini cake layers! Uh Oh, now I have to eat more ice cream as well as the cakes!

Will this work for the 3D cakes? I can't find any contain that will work.

I think it would work for very small 3D cakes. For the average/larger size ones, there was another thread about using the large Rubbermaid storage containers.
