Adding Extender To A Doubled Cake Mix

i'm about to make 2 box mixes, plus i wanted to add the extender to it, can I? has anyone ever done this? will it be o.k.

if you reply to your own post with "bump", it basically puts your post back on the home page so more people can see it. any reply to a post puts that post back on the top of the home page. people do it if they need a quick answer to their question or if no one answered it.

Put a strip of parchment paper around the sides..at least 2-3 inches higher than the pan...spray sides w/ non stick spray so the paper will stick and overlaps... icon_smile.gif

What sized pan are you using??

If your pan calls for 2 box mixes then you would use 1 cake mix and 1 extender and that would eliminate the extra cake mix.
