All,

I made the giant ding-dong cake and it came out great! However, I had some questions, mostly about the chocolate topping ...

The recipe said to add water, I did that and it was fine, but I always thought water added to chocolate would cause it to sieze up. Why didn't this happen.

I also love the way the frosting poured and looks, but it's a bit chewy. Is this normal, and if so, how could it alter it a bit to be less chewy?

BTW, the filling is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I can't believe it wasn't grainy since it was made with regular sugar!

When I first read the thread title I thought we were going to check out a naughty cake! I must admit that this is just as nice! I'd love the recipe also, if you get the time to post it.

That looks just perfect! My mother-of-the-groom asked that hers be decorated "nice". Now, what the heck does tHAT mean?? icon_confused.gificon_biggrin.gif
