How Do I Make Gerbera Daisies,
Decorating By sistersinsweets Updated 12 Sep 2005 , 12:34pm by MrsMissey
I have my first wedding cake ever coming up and her flowers are Gerbera Daisies in Light Oranges and Peach. How do make these flowers? Would I be better to do Royal/Buttercream or Fondant
Thanks A Million Heather
Here's one with Royal Icing, it's a basic daisy, but if you added more petals it would look like a gerbera

Make a daisy on the flower nail and let it dry in a large flower former (if you want it to be slighly curved, then you make a another daisy with maybe a 103 or 102 tip and attach it on top of the first daisy. You can also try making the second row of petals right on top of the first one.
I hop the helps
I have the detailed instructions for making Gerbera daisies...if you want, I can scan and e-mail them to you (too much typing!!)
