Is there anyone looking to start up a business in my area? (SW MO) I am a stay at home mom and love making cakes and have many people asking about them, but not able to do anything out of my house because of state health regulations. Anyone else looking to start up???

I live in Columbia, Same problem. I am currently looking into renting or bartering space with a church or daycare or evening only restaurant in the area, they are already licensed, all I would have to do is take a food handlers course and do the paperwork, then I could keep my own hours as far as baking/decorating as I am a SAHM also. That is for full fledged though. Right now I am not that busy so I use the church kitchen from time to time and they are cool with it, especially since they get treated from time to time.

I'm in Kirkwood, and I have been talking with some of the churches here about subleasing their kitchens.

I'm in Springfield, same problem here. I do cakes and sell them but I keep quiet about it. I've got a lot of clients so far and once I have enough I'll look into renting a kitchen or just getting my own place. But I want to make sure I can successful before I sink any money into it.
