I made that duckcake that's in my photos to my sisters 6 months old girl.

They live about 750 meters from us and I had to take the cake there with my own 1 year 3 moths old girl. Our car was getting it brakes done. I was lazy and put the cake under the prams, where my girl was sitting (to the basket under the seat).

Of course it was not okay when I get there (rocky road). They loved it and we started eating from the dropped side.

I should have carried it in my hand. Or call them to pick it up.

icon_smile.gif I have wanted to get my disaster to post here...

so here is my first (hopely last too)..

Oh you poor thing, all that hard work. But it still looks really good and Yummy!!
I know what you mean about prams and cakes.. I have given up and when I take a cake somewhere with 2 toddlers in tow, I drive and park as close as possible and they walk with me. They used to get upset if I didn't hold their hand so here I'd be with a 30 person mud cake (HEAVY) in one hand and holding their little hand in the other! icon_biggrin.gif
The things that cake decorating mums have to do!! icon_lol.gif
I also do the reward thing, you know "if you are very quiet and walk with me nicely, we will buy a freddo on the drive home" or something of the sort.
I'll bet everyone still loved your cake!

Aw that is just my luck. I would have done the same thing seeing that I'm lazy so don't beat yourself up about that. It still looks pretty and we all learn from our mistakes. Great job.
