Fondant vs gumpaste flowers

Can someone explain what the differences are in making gum paste flowers and making fondant flowers??? Just from seeing the pictures in the gallery, the gum paste flowers look more detailed but I curious of the differences of these two. Thanks.

Really not any idea.
But if I will think, the gum paste might be some more elastic, and pliable to work with.
I mostly make flowers by flower paste.

I think gum paste flowers look more realistic too. I think it's because the gum paste pieces are rolled much thinner than the fondant ones.
