Hi!!! I'm in Kissimmee and I'd love to get together as a group, how fun? We could bring our portforlios and a dessert. I'm being a bit presumptuious I know as I haven't been personally invited. If I am, I'll need to get a sitter for my kiddo. he will be 3 on the 21st. Sounds like a good time and I hope there will be many in this area.
Please let me know when you have a definate plan, I'd like to meet you all hopefully you guys can teach me a few things.

You are more than welcome to come. My husband gave me the go ahead so we can have it at my home if that is ok with everyone. Pm me or email me [email protected] and I can give directions to everyone. We can talk about different ways to do things and just visit.
If you can't make this one we will have another one on the weekend during the summer. Yea!! This is so exciting...

Ok, Hopefully everyone is now getting off work so they can let me know if they want to get together on April 23rd. I have several that have e-mailed me but I would like to get more so we can talk cake...
I know it will be difficult for some to come because of it being on a Monday night so we are going to plan another one during the summer so we can invite everyone...

I'm in Orlando as well... but April is very bad timing for me. I'd consider a future date, though!
Sounds like fun! I am not sure if I can make it, my husband is a server at disney and doesn't get his schedule this far ahead. He would need to be here with our 3 kids. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
rlsaxe- It is time you relocate. I work next to Disney at a big resort. So come on down.

fmcmulle - oh believe me......I'd move to Florida in a heartbeat. My husband and I talk about it all the time. But my family is allhere in NY and I'd hate to take my young children away from all their cousins. Kids! They always gotta go and ruin everything!
We do have a timeshare in Orlando though. So, I guess, technically, we're property holders there!
I used to live in Boca Raton when I was a kid (for about 2 years). Loved it!
When I come down to Orlando next, I'll be pm'ing you, girl!

I would never forget all my Florida buddies, I figured alot of my northern buddies wouldn't be able to come because of the weeknight but the one in the summer I hope we can make it a big one. I don't have a lot of free time with this thing called my full time job, then theres my family and then I have my cakes. I am still trying to figure out how I can leave my job.. Lets all keep in touch for the summer.. I would love to meet everyone on here...Yea!!!!

awesome, if you can't come because of a sitter I don't have a problem you bringing your kids. Mine are 11 and 14 and they end of being home if my husband is not off work. Hey my daughter may want to be there anyway because she is a member of cake central also.

Oh MAAAAAN!! I am going to be in the Orlando area the 11th-14th!! That stinks that my timing wasn't better! You'll have to give lots of advance notice for the summer get together so I can plan to come down!! 
MIL lives in Ocala and we fly out of Orlando. Would love to get together with some of you crazy cake-ites!!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, I'm gonna meet some cakies!! I've always felt left out when I'd see fellow CCers get together - I mean, really, nobody seems to want to play together here in Alabama!!
You guys just wait, when I build my house, there's going to be some cake partying going on!! Husband will have to get used to it!! My first party is going to have to include my good 'ole pal Stephanie214...I know, Virginia is a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg ways off, but hey, I can see it happenin'!
So, Faye, how many you got so far? I'll bring some goodies to eat - and share, of course! I'm so excited. FINALLY!! I GET TO TALK AND NOT JUST TYPE CAKE!! HA!
Oh, and I'm on for the Summer get-together too! Just let me know, 'cause I'm there...hopefully! My niece (and God-Daughter) is going to be having a 16th birthday in July, so I know I'll be down for that making the cake!
