First of all, sue_dye, your cakes.... absolutely gorgeous.... they're utterly flawless - I'm sure you get this alot, but I thought I should tell you again (compliments never hurt). icon_smile.gif You do absolutely outstanding work - everything about them is so appealing.... both to the eye and to the brain (**wonders how good those cakes taste**). Now, to the nitty-gritty icon_cool.gif , I'm not completely unexperienced, but neither am I pro - easiest thing to say is - I really need your help. I got some questions so here goes:

- how do you get your icing so smooth? - remember what I said about the flawless part

- do you use butter or crisco? - or does it even matter?

- did it take long to get as good (good is an understatement) as you are now? or was you born with a decorating bag in your hand icon_biggrin.gif - it sure looks like it to me thumbs_up.gif

- what kind of cakes do you use? - are you a box girl or from scratch? - your cakes look so well held up.

- and finally can I please, please, PLEASE have your icing recipe? You could PM or e-mail me if you prefer. It looks sooo yummy and I would greatly appreciate it.

(don't worry about me trying to out-sell you or anything like that thumbsdown.gif - I would never do such a thing or try to pass your work off as my own, I just want to make cakes that are as fabulous as yours for my family and friends - I can just picture their icon_surprised.gif faces icon_eek.gif when I whip one of those babies out!)

I look forward to your response...THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP!!! HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!! birthday.gif
