Hello,
I was wondering if I can make a purse or handbag cake out of either a 10 inch round cake or a 10 inch square cake? I keep trying to figure it out in my head, and am unsure if I could cut the round cake in half and place both halves cut side down to make a bag or would it just look like half a handbag?
Any ideas?!

When I made mine I baked a rectangular cake, cut in half and stuck them together. Purses come in all shapes and sizes, a round cut in half and put together would be a very classical shape.
