yes cindy...I get it every time I send a pm or a reply to posts.....but whatever I was sending still goes through!!

I pmed ge978 this mornign and got that so I kept trying to send it....she got it 6 times!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I think that message is coming up because the notification email isn't being sent. I received a PM this morning but didn't get the email like I usually do, and also haven't received emails when people post to threads I'm watching (like this one, LOL!).

The posts seem to be making it, as well as PM's, although I have noticed at least one thread that had a post, then when I posted also the other reply wasn't still there. So, if you post something really important, make sure later that it's still there . . .

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was having serious withdrawl symptoms!!! I actually cleaned my WHOLE house...not just the surface!!!

Now my family is going to expect it!!!! icon_confused.gif

I am just now able to access the site (3:20pm) since 9 pm last night. I'd cleared my cache/cookies many times, but it didn't seem to work. I realized the site was down for maintenance, but MAN, was I sad when even this morning I was getting the 'down for maintenance' screen icon_sad.gif lol Addiction is the perfect word to describe my problem!! lol Nearly a whole day without CC!!! icon_surprised.gifthumbsdown.gif However, I did get caught up on lots of housework, etc.! icon_rolleyes.gif Glad ya'll got everything fixed....thanks for all the hard work ya'll do to keep this site up! thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

Now...to try and catch up on what I missed from those who were able to access the site before me! Uggghhh...wish me luck! icon_lol.gificon_razz.gif

Soooo glad to have the site back on, it was pretty boring today with "nothing " to do Ha Ha

(Just to make it clear, I wasn't "complaining" earlier that things weren't working (in tech forum especially), just trying to give as much information about what was happening as possible to the person who needed to know so it could be fixed.)

And here I was missing cake central when we lost our phone line yesterday-didn't get it fixed until today at 2pm or so. At least I only missed cake central for an hour today before it came back.

I too got my house clean today with no internet

Just logged in and I'm glad to see you're back! Funny thing is...I also cleaned my house since the website was down! I even dusted! Maybe there should be a few days scheduled each month where the site is closed for maintenance so our homes also receive some badly needed maintenance. Then again...maybe NOT! thumbsdown.gif

I have been busy since late last night so I was one of the LUCKY ones who didn't even know it was down!! thumbs_up.gif Thank goodness, cause I probably would have pulled my hair out! (Definitely don't think I would have CLEANED though!! icon_eek.gif

Hi all -
just wanted to thank our moderators for doing such an excellent job and for providing this site for everyone! i think i speak for all when i say we'd be lost without it!
i have a question about the photo gallery. just in the last day or so, the pictures are out of order - newer pics on the LAST page (pg. 36 in the wedding, round cake gallery). so to see the newest uploads, one must go to the very end and then scoll backwards to see subsequent photos. is this temporary? is it just my computer!? im sorry if there was a thread on this and i missed it, but i did look! didn't know if this had something to do with all the server work or if this is a permanent change. thanks for your help and for your hard work!!!!
