i have been working with royal and love that it is so durable but want to branch out and try some new things. which of the 3 Rolled butercream, mmf and fondant holds up better, is stackable etc.

It sounds like you may be doing cookies. For cookies royal is what I think most use, but for cakes, I like the MMF cause it tastes awsome when you add 2 tsp of butter flavoring to the batch. Yummy! Sure it would be great on cookies too... think I should try that mext time.
