I have been getting a lot of really great feedback from the community on how to make the photo gallery even better.
One of the main things that came up, that a lot of you voiced your opinion on was "commenting on the photos". It seems a lot of people want to upload thier photos, but do not necessarily want any comments or feeback, they simply want to share with the community.
I have made an update to your forum profile, that will allow you to check "YES" or "NO" for allowing photo comments on your photos.
However people may still send you Private Messages or post in the forums with accolades or questions about your work. Because this is an "organic" community, it thrives on the flow of information and creativity of all the members.
I am not asking anyone to share any secret family recipes
Just be aware that by uploading your photos, you may spark a lot of interest on perhaps how you managed a certain technique.
No one is required to answer any questions about their photos.
All I ask is that you at least consider sharing that information with the community. Who knows... you may learn something new as well
The only stipulation I have made on enabling/disabling the comments is this:
You must have photo gallery comments enabled in your settings, if you want to participate in the contests.
On another note, I will not tolerate any public chat about other members that have chosen not to have comments enabled. To each his/her own.
