I'm going through some pictures that I transferred from an old laptop and I came across this picture... I thought I'd share!! I was playing around with carving different cake shapes and fondant inlays...This is what happened!! icon_surprised.gifthumbsdown.gif
I ended rolling the fondant way too thin and my inlays pulled away...LOL!! How do we learn if we don't try...right??? I would like to try this again, but next time I'll try one new technique at a time!! icon_lol.gif

I actually like it! It's got that retro, funky kind of feel to it! icon_smile.gif Not a disaster by any means!

I agree that it looks fine. Like a 70's style foot stool.

No guts no glory!!! LOL.. Why try one when you can try two? Kinda like shopping for shoes.

From what I can see it actually looked pretty cool. Just needed smoothing out some more and putting on some funky leaf accents to produce a 3 D effect and it would have been rocking.
