I have just started experimenting with mmf. Love it, but can't get a dark brown (to use for wood floors or tree trunks). I keep adding brown, but doesn't seem to get much darker. It just stays a nasty poo color. icon_cry.gif Any suggestions on how to get a dark brown?

You can put a touch of black into it to get it darker.

What brand/type of coloring are you using? The Americolor chocolate brown is as good as I've come across to get a true brown. You can always use chocolate fondant, I mix w/ white sometimes too (it's very dark).

I am using Wilton. I guess I need to shop online and try another brand. I'll try adding a little black. Is chocolate fondant made with marshmallows?
