How do I hide or change pink strawberry creme cheese frosting to a more masculine color without changing the flavor? My husband's birthday is coming up and he wants a strawberry cake with strawberry creme cheese frosting but doesn't want his cake to be PINK. HELP!

You should be able to put food color in it or icing color. Make it red???

As I was reading your post there was an ad for Burgundy color Americolor right next to it. How about adding some red and a touch of brown to make a maroon or burgundy color? That way you would be using the pink to your advantage.

How about purple? Or you could use strawberry flavoring in the cream cheese frosting and layer real berries on top of the flavored cream cheese? This would keep the cream cheese ivory.

Leave it pink, it is strawberry, afterall. Use chocolate for the borders and writing. It will draw less attention to the pink.
