hi...i'd like a recipe for making choclate cakes that turns out a high/big layers. I have a very good sheet cake recipe but the cake never rises and even my 2 layers are as thin as when the batter is poured into nthe pan...they never rise!! i see all these beautiful layered cakes on CC and wonder how they get so high? all my pans are 2'' high but i have to bake twice in them to get a reasonable height. Dose anyone know of a good fudge cake recipe that doesnt involve a lot of things but turns out high enough that i can cut in two layers? i sell cakes so if there is a big quantity of ingred involved, then it's not worth the profit margin...plz HELP!!!
