Where can I get the Dream Whip icing that I've been reading about? Also, how does it hold up outdoors and does it need refrigeration....thanks!!

I believe it's on this site, under frostings, and it's called Dreamy Cream.

Here is a recipe I have for it. I got it from here a long time ago...I'm sorry I don't remember who posted the recipe...but it sooo yummy!!

Dream Whip Icing

2 tablespoons Dream Whip powder (approximately 1 pouch)
1/2 cup plus 1 teaspoon hot water
1 1/2 cups shortening
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 to 2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds confectioner's sugar

Combine the first 2 ingredients until completely dissolved and cooled to room temp. Add to all ingredients and mix slowly, adding 1 lb. of sugar at a time. After mixed well, continue mixing 1-2 minutes.

Hope that helps. Hugs, ~Denise

It's kind of like a whipped cream BC. It's light and fluffy...I never have used it to pipe with. I used it for my daughter's smash cake that is in my photos. I would think it would do simple decorations. Hope that helps.
