I'm totally new at this. Just taking Wilton course 1. They have shown us to torte and fill round/square cakes but my daughter wants a puppy for her B'day!
Just wanted to ask if it can be torted and filled or do have to bake 2 cakes and put them on one another......

Any help is appreciated.

I torte and fill character cakes almost every I make them.

(gotta have that extra layer of sugar!)
