Have any of you ladies used them? I'm not sure how they compare to the metal ones. If you do use them do you like them?

I've used them and they do get the job done but I just personally prefer the metal ones.

*grin* I love the metal ones myself but those plastic ones have been popping up everywhere.

I have used the plastic ones and I didn't really care for them. They didn't have the crips edges the metal ones do. And they had the tendency to kind of come apart on the end-especially the round ones. So you didn't have a nice round string of icing.

But I know other decorators who just love them.

Also cleaning... I have a harder time getting plastic clean than metal-so metal for me I like over all.

They are not that expensive maybe you can buy a couple of the ones that you would use most often and check out how they work for you.

There might also be different brands and the brand I was using just wasn't as high of a quality.

I have a handful of plastic ones..... they are monster tips.. you cannot compare them to the normal tips... they are for doing bulk or big work.
