Hey Jackie (& to anyone who has used this collaring method),

Could I do the collaring on a square pan also?

The wedding cake I'm doing is going to be done w/ 3" round pans. The groom's cake is going to be done w/ 2" square pans. I am doing basket weave on the groom's cake. Do you Jackie (or anyone else) think 2" is too small for the basket weave to be noticeable? The groom's cake will be 3 layers. I thought I might collar the square pans to have a little bite more cake. As I do not want to do 2 layers because then it will be larger then the wedding cake. That would be a "no-no" icon_lol.gif

Thanks for any advice or suggestions! icon_smile.gif

Hey TC have you PM'd Jackie this for when she's on here??? Maybe emailed her if there is away to? Like I said in another post, I have looked for this info and found nothing... I do intend on asking my aunt if she can help..... perhaps I will bring her on here.
