ok - my almost-4 year old is VERY "in to" Buzz right now (although he just calls him "spaceman". His birthday is in less than a month and I though I would make him a "spaceman cake".

THe problem is that the only Buzz cake pan ever made was discontinued by Disney and currently going for $50+ on eBay

So I figured I would do a BCT, but can't find any pictures online that aren't "super detailed" (backgrounds, holding something, arm in motion, etc)......has anyone ever made a Buzz cake that they could share a photo of?

Thanks!

is this one too detailed? You dont have to do all lines and stuff.

Kiddiekakes sure has the right idea, those cakes look as good as the one made with the BL pan.
BTW there are two pans on eBay today, one is up to $76, the other is at .99, but has three days or so to go. Janice

I MADE BOB THE BUILDER OUT OF THE HULK HOGAN (WRESTLER) PAN ONCE. A LADY THAT I KNOW GAVE ME A BUNCH OF PANS AND THEN GAVE ME A LIST OF WHAT SHE MADE OUT OF THEM. LIKE THE DARTH VADER PAN, SHE WOULD MAKE WEDDING BELLS FOR A SHOWER CAKE. SHE HAD A LOT OF NEAT IDEAS THAT I WOULD'VE NEVER THOUGHT OF.

here is one from this site. It looks amazing. It was an edible image and they kept going with the color of the image all through out the cake. It looks amazing!

THE PICTURE OF THE CAKE CHANGED. THIS MORNING I SAW WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, BUT WHEN I LOOKED NOW IT WASN'T THAT.

What the heck is going on?

When I looked earlier it was Dora the Explorer, and now it is Fantastic Four...not a Buzz Lightyear anywhere, maybe the Fantastic Four did away with both Dora and Buzz! ????

I think when new pics are uploaded, the position in the album changes so you'll see a different picture when you link to that page. If you right click on a pic in the gallery and choose properties, you can get the URL and link directly to the pic rather than the page it was on. Buzz is now 393/888 instead of 388.

It is an awesome cake...I think you can buy that edible image online too.

yeah thats what I was told to get the actual cake you want you have to get the URL for it..... I did the same thing once when I was trying to help find the picture of a boy opening presents....

I'm glad there is a logical explanation, I thought we had cake photo gremlins loose on the site! Janice

I use the follwing website to find pictures - I can almost always find something to use for a BCT.
