I did as you said and didn't look at the other posts...If I'm wrong on this I'm real sorry, but I see a baby popping out of a pregnant woman's belly?

I liked the topper from the beginning I think it was funny and original. But when I saw the topper without the mommy it looked INCREDIBLE!! It was more focused on the baby's arrival. as oppose to being more focused on the baby popping out of the stomach.

Yes I know what it is. It is a baby tearing it's way out of a dead mother. The mother has been decapitated and both hands and feet have been removed. Something straight out of a B-Movie horror flick. Sorry that is what I saw. The baby is scary looking.

Hah! That's EXACTLY what I saw too. You'd be glad to know the cake is no longer that way... have a look at page 5 of this thread.

This is a completely honest critique and not intended to hurt any feelings.

It is modeled very well and the colors are lovely, however I find it creepy.....a body without arms and legs and baby popping out of the body.....Really seems "Alienesque" and Ripley has tons to fear now that alien has moved from the movies onto cake toppers. The cheerful colors really help creep me out with the whole idea of popping out of a stomach........

But then I have problems with pregancy belly cakes or anything like that when a knife will be used to cut it.....

Great topper for a Goth shower.........

To me, it looks like a baby popping out of his mom's belly...kinda creepy because the baby isn't that cute...

I must say that even though my little one is 7 months now he was around 9 lbs when he was born at home (yes, I chose it to happen) with no drugs and a midwife. He did not POP! out and I'm glad or else I'd be just a torso like the top of your cake. HAHAHAHA!

Disturbing cake but well done nonetheless.

P.S. it took only 9 hours.

Now that I've gone back and looked it all over, I like the revised version! The focus is on the baby's arrival...which is good...since we all know how they get here... Your cake is great!
