I desperately need ideas for my grandmother's bdy cake - She's 70 something - I was thinking something floral - and preferably buttercream - I don't think she would like fondant - I would love pictures of any ideas - [email protected] or post here!

Here's a cake I'm doing an adaptation of for a lady's 70th birthday. I'm only doing an 8" round however. I think it's a beautiful cake. The cake will be covered in BC, I will use these flowers/leaves/vine thingy and it will say Happy Birthday on it.

When I think floral, for some reason, I think basket of flowers. A simple basket weave with flowers would be pretty too.
