What recipe do you use for children's cupcakes. I have a request for 60 cupcakes for a birthday party and was wondering what you all use - I will take boxed or scratch.

Thanks

I actually always always use the Magnolia Cupcakes recipe for vanilla cupcakes. These are so delish and very very very very addictive. I dont have the recipe in this computer but you can find it online if you do some search. NOTE that it is not the recie on this site. That is an alternate cupcake recipe. I mean the original Magnolia Cupcakes recipe.

They are moist and delish. You can always soak then in syrup to make them even moistier.

This is the recipe. I have to note that these have lots of sugar. Jesus just talking about them makes my mouth water. I had them at the bakery when I lived in NY. Then I tried them here in Madison and people just love them. Trying them here was really important because I feel like people in this area are less swayed by trendy recipes like NYorkers are. People were asking for more, eating them for breakfast etc. This is the recipe from the original cookbook. NOT the More Magnolia cookbook one. I particularly love the frosting but some people might find it too sugary so traditional buttercream probably works too.

Let me know how they turn out!
