Giant Schnauzer cookie cutter

Okay, here goes my question. I found a Giant Schnauzer cookie cutter and my in-laws have 3 giants (yes they are crazy) and I thought how neat it would be to get it and make them. The only problem is, is that I am new to cookies and have not a clue as to how to decorate them. Would just outlining them in black and use black RI be enough? If anyone has any ideas or by chance has the same cutter with a picture. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank-you.....Tiffany

I have some salt/pepper schnauzer cookies in my photos.

You could use a dark grey and a black. Run black on the top of the cookie (the dog's back) and then use the dark grey on the legs. With a toothpick, drag the colors back and forth. Hope that Helps.

BTW--I also have a black Giant Schnauzer...I have just made the cookie all in black, like a silhouette.

Oh, may I please have copies of the pictures of the cookies???  I am involved in Giant Schnauzer rescue in the metropolitan Phoenix area.  We are having (hopefully) a spring fun day, and it would be great fun to make cookies and sell them at our fun day!!!  I, of course, will need to buy a cookie cutter as well.  Is one better than another?  Thank loads for all the help!  I work full time, part-time, and am involved in rescue, but I would take a day off just to bake these for our fun day!
