Freezing Cake

Can we freeze cake - the recipe on this site for the 3d durable cake. I made it the other day for today and luckily I didn't start decorating, because my niece put bd part off until this Sat. I don't want to waste the cake. icon_sad.gif

I've never actually made that particular cake,but i make all my cakes from scratch and freeze some of them for up to 6 weeks. They come out lovely and moist. Of course you have to make sure you dont have anything smelly in your freezer and you need to wrap it really well in plastic kitchen wrap and then put it in a bag.
