Is there such a thing as a cube shaped cake pan? I want to make a Vegas theme cake and make the top tier look like dice. I was just going to shape a cube out of a layered square cake.

Alos, how do you cover this in fondant.......how do you NOT get a crease around the edges when you covr a rectangle/square/cube shaped cake?

I have not seen a cube shaped pan. I would do the same thing as you - shape out of a layered cake. As for the fondant - All I can say is "work it". I did a mattress cake which was square (see my pixs) and just worked the fondant. I've heard some people cut the edges and then put the two edges together and try to smooth the crease as best you can but I've never tried it myself. Maybe someone else here has and will reply. Good luck. thumbs_up.gif

Me again. Go to the Galleries here on CC and do a search using the word DICE - there were a bunch of cakes with dice but one in particular was done with fondant - the cubes are orange on top of a cake - PM the creator of that cake and see if she would share her technique. Good luck.
