When making animals or people out of fondant what do you use to stick it together? I feel like I have to squish pieces together to make them stay, any advise?

you can use a variety of things which I'm sure you'll see others post...I mostly use a simple sugar syrup and a paint brush. you can use tylose (used generally when modelling with gumpaste)...I've also used lemon extracts & alcohol (vodka) for small sticking jobs.

I use a dab of piping gel... works for me. Just be sure to not get it on an area that will be exposed - it makes it shiny and a little sticky!

you can also make a "glue" bu adding a few drops of water to a small ball of your fondant adn mix with a fork until it's a gluey paste! It's great when you want to be sure you have the same colour!
