College fiasco - Page 2

The cake turned out awesome. Great Job!!!
I am sure everyone appreciated all the hard work!!!!

I am always told that even if I think I make a mistake with my cakes, to the "untrained and hungry eye" all cakes are beautiful.

What kind of filling did you use?

I used whipped ganache. It tasted great icon_biggrin.gif

What a nightmare...I've had cakes like that myself. Some to just toss in the garbage and start all over again. I even had one completely finished one day - it was sitting in the middle of the kitchen table waiting for the customer to come and get it...I got busy in another room only to come back and find my two year old daughter on the table with all the icing off the top of the cake - most of it on her face and some in her tummy. Good thing the customer was a friend of mine - she drank coffee while I baked another cake!!
