Master Cook Version 9..........

I know a lot of folks on here are wrestling with recipes here and there. If you get a chance pick up this its not expensive and its a darn good program for managing recipes, menus, shopping lists and more.Even has a pantry where you can list all your ingredients. Just thought I would throw that out there..
Yeah I am pretty sure it is. I would just type in Master Cook Version 9 it should come up. I know CompUSA has it,where I got mine, and I think Costco has it. I will look for a website and re posts shortly...
Yeah heres the website www.valusoft.com.................
I LOVE my master cook software.
I only have version 7, but I got it for free with one of my textbooks, so I'm not complaining.
There are also several Yahoo groups dedicated to sharing master cook formatted files, and technical support!
These are my two favorite:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MasterCook/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MastercookDiscussion/
Also, if anybody requests recipes from me, I ALWAYS send them in master cook format. But I realize if I send a lot in one file it can be rather difficult to find a recipe if you don't have the master cook software, so I like to send this link along with the recipe file:
http://ertw.com/~carole/
it goes to a site where you can download a small program that reads master cook files and makes it easier to find individual recipes and you can even use it to print out only the recipes you want at that moment.
I bought mine from amazon.com for something like $16.95, I think. Great program! I about had a heart attack when I saw the nutrition info for my carrot cake.
Yeah thats one of the drawbacks. It lets you know what you are eating and sometimes thats a scare in its self. I do not even bother looking at the nutrition info because anything you like is not going to be good for you. So I eat it anyway.
