Does anyone know how many an 11x15 sheet cake serves,, just one layer, using 2 mixes . I guess i should know but ... Anyway i looked in forums but couldnt' find answer looking at serving charts.. thanks in advance for any help.,..
Here is a link someone gave me recently ... it has a cutting guide at the bottom for 11x15
Yeah, it's one of those days.... here's the link for real this time

With square or rectangle cakes, it's easy to just do the math to figure your servings.....
11x15 cake: 2x2" servings = cut columns/rows of 5x7 = 35 servings
11x15 cake: 2x3" servings = cut columns/rows of 5x5 = 25 servings
12x18 cake: 2x2" servings = cut columns/rows of 6x9 = 54 servings
12x18 cake: 2x3" servings = cut columns/rows of 6x6 = 36 servings
These are based on a single layer cake. If you bake two layers, then you will probably cut the pieces into 1x3" pieces to yield different serving amounts.
Just do the math.....!
Hi,
Recently I used that pan for a church gathering and cut the 2x2 inch servings, nice size. I used a doctored DH mix and found that 2 classic white mixes were too skimpy, I had to add a bit from a third, but didn't matter as I was making MANY! I found that two chocolate mixes were better, but my advice is to measure your batter before baking to be assured satisfaction. I also placed a layer of parchment on the bottom and used two flower nails to promote baking in the center.

.... I found that two chocolate mixes were better, ....
chocolate cake always rises higher than other flavors and would then logically fill a pan better than other flavors.
I just looked this one up last night. for the traditional wedding cake slice a stacked 11x15 will give 90 servings. This is off of what is posted on the wilton site.
