I am going to be dipping strawberries in chocolate for a brunch tomorrow. I have no time to do them in the morning as I have to be there at 9:30!

My question is should I store them in the refridgerator until I leave or should I let them sit out? I'm just concerned about sweating when they sit out on the table tomorrow!

I've dipped before but they have always been consumed within a few hours.

Thanks for any advice!

I would like to know this one too since I am doing them for my best friend's wedding. I know in the past when I do a cake with them on top I don't place them on the cake til I am ready to take it just in case they do sweat and I do refrigerate them and just blot them once the come to room temperture before I put them on the cake. Is there an easier way????

One thing is, if you let them sit out,,,the green top will wilt a little...but, I'd like to know an answer too.

For I wash the strawberries, pat dry with a paper towel. then let sit out for a few minutes to air dry. When I started doing that they did not sweat or get a lot of moister on them when they came out of the fridge, but temp when they are at room temp and complete dry. I have made the night before put and stored in the fridge on plate with scran wrap. Like I said this works for, look forward to see other answers too.

So I'm not the only one with the question huh? Maybe I'll google and research a little more. I thought I'd come here first but in the mean time I still would like to know everyone's ideas and thoughts on this!

I'll check back in a bit with what I find out!
