Hi Everyone!
I had a request for a vanilla mousse filling. I saw some recipes for fruit mousse fillings. Do you think I could just add some vanilla bean to this?
Thanks in advance.

I just use a box of instant vanilla pudding whipped together with 1 cup of whipping cream and 1/2 cup of cold whole milk. I don't like using egg mousses in my cakes because I don't know how long the cakes will be left out. Even with the milk, this is a very stable filling.

Have you ever substituted chocolate pudding for chocolate filling?

Yes. Really, any pudding is awesome. White chocolate, banana--YUM.
